Steel Plants

The framework: the very infrastructure of all our lives and society is produced in our plants. It is no exaggeration to say that the history of Japanese steelmaking plants started with the Nippon Steel Corporation. For more than 40 years we have led the fields of design, construction and operation of general steelmaking plants; we are proud to be one of the leading companies in Japan, and proud of our technology and our track record. Drawing upon our past we are committed to the "creation of an earth conscious plant". With the recycling of plant by-products and the saving of energy we have already successfully started our "Iron to Iron Cycle" - recycling of scrap iron.
